The Civil Engineer will primarily focus on delivering comprehensive land development solutions for a diverse range of Texas projects. The CAD Drafter and Designer position is dedicated to supporting the successful execution of civil engineering projects through the proficient use of Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil3D programs. The primary mission is to produce accurate plans, drawings, maps, and reports for site development projects, including grading, drainage, water and sewer plans, and creating profile sections of roadways and utilities. This role also involves generating fill and cut profiles, conducting analysis, and developing detail drawings in accordance with local engineering practices and available products.
Effective research skills, utilizing internet resources and modern technologies, are essential for gathering information and ensuring compliance with authorities' requirements. The CAD Drafter and Designer will perform necessary calculations using Microsoft Excel and adapt spreadsheets to meet project and code specifications. Proficiency in utilizing integrated plugins in Civil3D for hydraulic and hydrology analysis is highly valued.
